Personal Lines Account Manager

Full-time · Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

The Phoenix Insurance is one of the largest specialty P&C agencies in the country. We're not here to just save clients 15%: we build lasting relationships around complex, high-value coverage needs, from collector and classic vehicles to other specialty assets, with the same care and strategy a trusted financial advisor brings to a portfolio. We're looking for an Account Manager who leads with expertise and long-term protection, not just the lowest premium at renewal.You'll take ownership of an established book of business, and your renewal reviews will be where you earn the trust that keeps clients with Phoenix year after year. You'll discover what has changed in each client's life, catch gaps and exposures, and use that conversation to strengthen the relationship rather than just renew a policy. You'll also have opportunities to grow the book further through referrals and community events.

What you'll do

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, answering questions and providing expert guidance on their coverage
  • Review policies and analyze risk to recommend solutions that truly fit each client's needs
  • Manage renewals and proactively schedule annual review calls to keep coverage current
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell coverage that adds real value
  • Deliver exceptional, consistent service that turns clients into long-term relationships
  • Keep documentation and CRM activity accurate and compliant with agency standards

What you'll bring

  • An active Property & Casualty License
  • At least 3 years of experience in Sales and Account Management within Property & Casualty insurance, ideally with an independent agency or strong multi-carrier background
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and retention goals
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills organizational skills
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (EZLynx experience is a plus)
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous, with a genuine passion for getting it right
  • A natural relationship builder who earns trust quickly
  • Proactive and self-driven, with strong follow-through
  • Confident handling client concerns and turning them into solutions
  • Ready to continue growing their career in Property & Casualty Insurance

Pay

Base salary plus commission. 401(k) with company match, medical/dental/vision, PTO, parental leave.
